Color Combinations and Product Inspiration

Soft and strong are combined with an updated blend of red, violet and peach tones to reflect a contemporary unisex direction. Black and Burgundy hues merge with Amethyst to add extra depth and strength to this color palette.

Swarovski Crystal Product Inspiration

Edgy crystal shapes play on notions of both elegance and toughness for an updated armor effect in accessories.

The soft violet and crystal with the slightest hints of blue hues of Crystal Vitrail Light transition exceptionally well with the classically complex sparkle of Crystal AB. These are wonderful complimentary colors to the deeper tones of Amethyst, which blends very well with the rich bordeaux quality of Burgundy. Crystal Silver Night is a perfect progression into the deeper perspective of the always and forever-popular Jet black.

Designs will increasingly reference strength and power, with embellishment and decoration becoming fiercer; showcasing a desire not to back down.

Amethyst, Burgundy and Jet are traditional Fall and Winter staple colors and when these are mixed with the lighter elements of purple and peachy hues (Light Peach Crystals and Peach Pearls), it adds a little more balance and progression to the color palette as well as an uplifting feeling.

As we move down this color trend guide, similar Swarovski colors include Chrysolite, Peridot, Crystal Luminous Green. Light Peach, Peach Pearls, Silk and Crystal Brandy. Violet, Crystal Vitrail Light, and Crystal Lilac Shadow. Amethyst, Amethyst Satin, and Purple Velvet. Cyclamen Opal, and Violet Satin. Erinite, and Crystal Iridescent Green. Many of these colors compliment the new Crystal Scarabaeus Green and Pearl beautifully!

3 Fall Fashion Color Trends for 2015 With Complimentary Swarovski Crystal Tones!

I can’t believe how fast this summer is flying by! It’s not over yet, we still have some time left to squeeze out some last minute fun in the sun. As we wind down the summer, it’s a perfect time to start thinking creatively about our new fall fashion and jewelry accessories!

The fall season can be busy with all of the arts and craft shows, family gatherings, apple picking, pie making, leaf peeping excursions…whoa, it becomes a lot (a lot of fun, that is!). To help you start gearing up for all of your fall fun and artistic ventures, I will go through the top 10 colors for fall 2015 and the complimentary Swarovski Crystal Colors.

Right off the bat, my favorites are the Desert Sage, Stormy Weather, Cashmere Rose and Amethyst Orchid. The Bicsay Bay is also beautiful and I’m not normally a big orange fan, but the Cadmium Orange is a soft, almost a peachy orange which I find myself being drawn to more and more. I will break up these colors in stages, highlighting the first three colors now and the others will follow. So let’s get started…

The Dried Herb is a classic olive green shade which people are naturally drawn to during the fall and winter months. It was once thought of as primarily a safari or military color, but is now being elevated into a fashionable fall staple that we can perceive as sophisticated and chic. It has an organic quality and is closely related to nature and earthly fragrances.

Glamour Trend ~ The Darkness of Desire

Discovering new inspiration in the fantastical and the mystical is the focal point for this glamorous Fall 2014 trend entitled ‘The Darkness of Desire’. This captivating trend focuses on intuition and mysticism – that richly imagined repository of our deepest emotions, a dark realm of superstition, spells, shadowy secrets and unspoken passions.

This theme hinges on our ability to dream, to imagine, to look beyond the illusions of life. Dark passions and desires are as much a part of the everyday as our desires for happiness, peace and well-being.

The theme encompasses the importance of moving away from the robotic society that surrounds us, distancing ourselves from formulaic models, and delving into the creative ether surrounding the design world.

Mystery, intuition and magic are all evoked in this theme.

Our fascination with light evolves into a fascination with darkness –

the depth of shadows and shadowy secrets.

Jewelry emulates mysterious, naturally grown forms with tiny intricacies and small oddities.

Crystals sit alongside antique beads, pearls, and patina surfaces to add a touch of glamorous sparkle and tangled metal forms. Decadence and embellishments return – taking us away from the minimalism of the past few seasons, heralding a strong return to opulent ornamentation.

There is almost a regal opulence to designs, representing a somewhat faded nobility for the modern day. Eclectic shapes and precious materials appear to contain a secret story.

Minimalism is abandoned entirely within this jewelry trend and blends both history and emotion. Tarnished finishes recall dark desires and focus on the past – a key trend driver for major design directions.

We seek a sense of safety and security as the digital world continues to overwhelm us.

Longing for human touch as an antidote to the remoteness of digital communication, we snuggle up in over-sized layers that provide luxurious reassurance. Faux furs, plush piles and soft knits are delicately embellished with small crystals. A strong focus on the zip becoming the fashion fastener of choice as the sportswear trend continues to gain momentum for both tailoring and casual wear. The Swarovski Romantic Color Inspiration seduces the senses by inviting you to play with luxurious combinations that move from saturated, more hardy tones found in nature to softer and more playful ethereal hues.

Orange tones such as Tangerine and Topaz begin on the left and blend well with all of the natural tones such as Crystal Copper, Crystal Chili Pepper, Crystal Bronze Shade, Smoked Topaz, Light Smoked Topaz, Bronze Pearl, and Crystal Golden Shadow transition nicely with Vintage Rose into Light Rose and Rose. A very popular theme or trend this year in the fashion and jewelry industry has been the high-shine, standout appeal of Metallic’s. People are instantly drawn to the striking effects of gold, silver and copper tones and are wearing them in everything from clothing to shoes to purses and especially jewelry accessories such as this Crystal Metallic Light Gold heart ring made from “Crystal Rocks”.

The Swarovski Metallic Effects are the perfect dramatic coating that bring a provocative edge to the opulent shine of crystals. Shining out from the extensive Swarovski color assortment is the Crystal Iridescent Green, which was the first dual-tone Metallic Effect created.

Swarovski Jewelry Highlighting Xilion Bicone Beads in Crystal Metallic Blue 2X and the 6100 Teardrop Pendant in Crystal Bermuda Blue.
