Romantic Trend ~ The Seduction of Touch

Simple things that bring us luxury and joy are conveyed in this theme.

“Dreams of a luxurious everyday in which a measure of leisure and comfort is seen as a way to express one’s freedom of thought as well as artistic and creative inclinations” (Peclers AW15-16)

Swarovski crystal fall winter 2015-16 trends the seduction of touch

We seek a sense of safety and security as the digital world continues to overwhelm us.

Longing for human touch as an antidote to the remoteness of digital communication, we snuggle up in over-sized layers that provide luxurious reassurance. Faux furs, plush piles and soft knits are delicately embellished with small crystals. A strong focus on the zip becoming the fashion fastener of choice as the sportswear trend continues to gain momentum for both tailoring and casual wear. (please contact us for Swarovski Crystal zipper information).

Romantic Colors Inspiration

The Swarovski Romantic Color Inspiration seduces the senses by inviting you to play with luxurious combinations that move from saturated, more hardy tones found in nature to softer and more playful ethereal hues.

Orange tones such as Tangerine and Topaz begin on the left and blend well with all of the natural tones such as Crystal Copper, Crystal Chili PepperCrystal Bronze Shade, Smoked Topaz, Light Smoked Topaz, Bronze Pearl, and Crystal Golden Shadow transition nicely with Vintage Rose into Light Rose and Rose. The new Smoky Mauve color is soft purple tone with hints of a crystal-light grey mixture, making it an ideal hue to progress into clear Crystal or Crystal Silver Shade, Black Diamond, Grey Pearls and Crystal Silver Night.

Jewelry designed by Miranda Konstantinidou

Vibrant Tangerine introduces a strong focal point, offering warmth and radiance to a reduced color palette underpinned by the subtle refinement of Smokey Mauve. The contrasting effects of matt and shine are married together. Crystals in smaller sizes offer delicate appeal for an instant ‘touch me’ effect.

Jewelry is smooth, sensuous and soft-edged, with crystals set closely together to form a fluid entity.

Swarovski Crystal Jewelry Volcano

This gorgeous Swarovski Crystal beaded necklace incorporates a stunning blend of vibrant colors that work very well together, such as Rose, Fuchsia, Fireopal, Colorado Topaz, Amethyst, Chili Pepper AB and  Crystal Volcano. Similar energetic color combinations include Crystal Astral Pink with Tangerine, which is quite exceptional and try incorporating Crystal Copper with these hues because it adds a beautiful transition between the orange family tones and the natural darker or lighter brown hues such as Smoked Topaz, Colorado Topaz, Light Colorado Topaz and Crystal Golden Shadow.

Fern Green, Dark Moss Green, Emerald and Emerald Champagne are rich and vibrant green tones, that blend beautifully with the lighter Peridot and Chrysolite greens.

Jet black is a classic color that goes with almost everything and Swarovski has created many beautiful coatings and transitional colors that successfully blend into clear Crystal and Silver. Jet Hematite is an elegant coating applied to Jet that gives it a silver sparkle to half of the bead and Jet Hematite 2X is a fully coated version of this. This then can unify all of the grey to silver tones such as Crystal Silver Night, Crystal Satin, Black Diamond, Crystal Silver Shade, Crystal Moonlight, Clear Crystal and then Crystal CAL (which stands for Comet Argent Light) for a half silver and half crystal look, moving finally into Crystal CAL 2X, for a fully coated silver appearance.

New Swarovski 6022 XIRIUS Raindrop Pendants

This brand new design from Swarovski is a modern interpretation of a classic cut displaying dramatic and spectacular chaton-cut faceting structure fashioned into a drop pendant that is perfect for both elegant and futuristic designs.  For the first time its colorful effect is applied from the top, rather than the side, to achieve a homogenous look. When seen from the side it has a classic appearance, but when viewed from below, the masterpiece of a dazzling kaleidoscopic effect is revealed.

Its conical shape adds sculptural volume, which meets the current demand for architectural pieces and progressive 3D design. It is particularly effective when used to create stand-out statement pieces, and when combined with smaller sizes its water-inspired droplet shape has an exciting nature-tech appearance. This exceptional style can be utilized in necklaces, earrings and eye-catching charm bracelets that are available in a 14 mm, 24 mm, 32 mm and a 33 mm.

The kaleidoscopic complexity of the XIRIUS cut finds its match only in nature’s miracles: captured in the new XIRIUS Raindrop Pendant is the beauty and wonder of a fresh summer shower. The drop motif is the perfect embodiment of Swarovski’s most brilliant crystal. Look at it from the sidea classic. Look at it from belowa phenomenon!

Fashion Trends and Color Inspirations for the New SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Fall and Winter 2014/15 Innovations! Featuring Glamour DEMURE DECADENCE

SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Trend Inspiration Demure Decadence

CPP -Luxury.com The Wealth Report – 2011: “The report has shown a boost in demand for luxury in key locations, with opinions showing that Mumbai has increased in importance by 118 percent, Shanghai by 91 percent, and Sao Paolo by 66 percent.” The current market shift reveals the increasing need to appeal to differing tastes and design ethics from different regions. As Europe is turning back to discretion and minimalism, emerging (and already emerged) economies such as India, Russia, and the UAE are celebrating their newfound status with the accoutrements of their history, culminating in a magnificent blend of ornate Asian opulence and modern European minimalism – a merging of cultures and an acceptance of both.

Glamour Demure Decadence Swarovski Fashion Trends

It is not a cultural clash but rather an intercultural marriage – made possible by the increasing acceptance and tolerance of different cultural backgrounds and the western world’s continued reliance on emerging economies. “Even in the West, ‘Austerity Fatigue’ has set in, and with it the demand for more pleasure per pound, dollar, or euro.” The overall look is at once decadent and demure – feminine and serene. A profusion of ornaments, Jacquard, prints, historical and decorative motifs, from both east and west merge to inspire a new breed of glamorous jet setters.

THE MOOD

There is a leaning toward innovation, luxury and opulence as individuals wish to reassert themselves.

SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Trend Inspiration Urban Nomad

The continuing emergence of nomad-inspired fashion showcases a new drive for freedom, and a stand against the constraints of the ongoing recession. Wanderlust continues to engulf the design world as we become more mobile in our daily lives due to the increased use and functionality of social media. We no longer have to work in an office, or one place, and our clothes and accessories reflect this. This mixing of styles, seasons, and eras to create a new bohemian look with a practical element is inspiring a new generation. Combining materials, such as tweed with luxurious fibers, creates a truly individualistic style.

The exclusive and the eccentric will become ever more important and will be carried by the growing influence of the bespoke. Recycling and regeneration are predicted to be the future fabrics and will become an increasing focus. “We are consuming 50 percent more than what the planet can currently sustain. This is very unfortunate and could increase to 100 percent very soon…” Sri Lankan physicist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Professor Mohan Munasinghe: “With such large numbers and as populations grow, the pressure to source more raw materials for textiles is intensifying.”

Fall 2013 Color Trend Featuring Koi

There are many different gold tones to choose from in the Swarovski Pearls and the name doesn’t necessarily represent the color, so I will list the gold options in relation to color starting from the lightest moving to the darkest. The softest gold hue is the Light Gold that has a very delicate, gentle and silky characteristic. The next lightest gold tone is Gold, which is a rich and very elegant color one that would match the tone of authentic 14K gold beautifully. The Vintage Gold is the next in line with more of a muted influence with hints of Light Colorado Topaz tan undercurrents. The Bright Gold is actually not very bright, it is the deepest gold available which is muted and subtle with an infusion of brownish tones.
