My new color crush is emphatically, marvelous Marsala!

I adore this color, not only because it’s the color of the year, but because it provides a versatile platform for which so many complementary colors can emerge from, such as deeper or lighter red colors, as well as purple or pinkish – salmon hues. This intoxicating tone also has the added benefit of pairing incredibly well with standard colors, such as gold, silver, white and black.

There are a few excellent colors that blend very nicely with the Bordeaux Pearls such as Indian Red Satin, Indian Red, Crystal Red Magma, Ruby, Fuchsia Satin and Dark Red Coral which has a solid matte-like look. (Some of these colors look different in the photographs, but when you put them next to the Bordeaux Pearls in person, they blend remarkably well.) Other similar colors for Marsala include Garnet, Burgundy and Siam. Similar Swarovski Pearls colors that compliment Bordeaux are Burgundy, Maroon and Blackberry.
