I am thrilled at this years’ gorgeous 2015 Pantone color of the year, Marsala! WOW, what a rich, elegant and exquisite hue to emphasis this year.

The Swarovski Pearl color of Bordeaux is a gorgeous color that works very well for Marsala.

There are a few excellent colors that blend very nicely with the Bordeaux Pearls such as Indian Red Satin, Indian Red, Crystal Red Magma, Ruby, Fuchsia Satin and Dark Red Coral which has a solid matte-like look. (Some of these colors look different in the photographs, but when you put them next to the Bordeaux Pearls in person, they blend remarkably well.) Other similar colors for Marsala include Garnet, Burgundy and Siam. Similar Swarovski Pearls colors that compliment Bordeaux are Burgundy, Maroon and Blackberry.

This hearty hue is universally appealing displaying earthy, red-brown roots which grounds it as a stand-alone statement color, or can be used as a strong accent to many other colors.

Marsala can easily be combined with a range of colors, with its’ under currents of burnt reddish tones it blends beautifully with earthy, natural finishes such as Crystal Copper and Crystal Chili Pepper. Due to the versatility of this color range you can pull in the warmer slightly brighter coating of Hyacinth Satin, the salmon hues of Padparadscha and the more intense sparkle of Crystal Astral Pink.
