Swarovski Crystal Foil Print

1. Foil Print The motif is printed on the foil underneath the crystal, which means…The brilliance of the crystal remains intact — Blurred contours can be used as a design element, e.g. for millefleurs motifs.

Swarovski Crystal Glass Print

2. Glass Print The motif is printed on crystal, which means…Highly precise reproduction of the motif, even with minute details and small fonts — No blurring — Matte effect can be used as a design element.

Swarovski Crystal Combination of foil and glass print

3. Combine these methods to…Create spectacular depth effects — Highlight special features of the design.

As a true highlight and stunning innovation, the Graphic Fabric, Fine Rocks and Rocks speak to the rising demand for personalized design items. It highlights our desire for an individual look in a world of mass production.

Jewelry Designs That Will Enthuse Even the Most Uninspired!

Swarovski SALT Magazine

Yesterday I was reading the Swarovski SALT Magazine for a little inspiration (which by the way – is absolutely fabulous!) and I came across an article highlighting the fashion/design school called the Central Saint Martins college of art which is in London. Swarovski  sponsors and collaborates with these students by donating gorgeous crystals to draw inspiration from and to be used in designs and contests. I wanted to point this out because I was especially inspired by what the school tries to instill in their students. A few highlighted themes include:

Free thought, independence of spirit, and a rebellious nature. These are just some of the qualities nurtured by this exceptional school whose graduates have gone on to be world leaders in fashion.

Swarovski Salt Magazine Highlights

(Swarovski Salt Magazine “Let The Light In” page 69)

As jewelry designers, artists and creative people, I’m sure you’re always striving to design fresh and new ideas to your line. Expanding your horizons, evolving, and relentlessly pursuing your passion. Those are some of the reasons why being creative is so darn fun!

Here are a few  examples of jewelry designs that push the limits and dare to be different. I hope they arouse your creativity to new heights and ever new possibilities!

atelier-swarovski-jewellery-eric-daman-2012-spring-summer

(Jewelry Designs by Eric Daman for Atelier Swarovski Native Modern)

I find that these jewelry designs have somewhat of a chaotic nature. They combine many different elements together such as the Swarovski Mosaic stones, different shaped cup-chains, along with unique styles of beads, pendants and colors. Yet with all of this going on, if you look closely you’ll find that they are balanced out by a repetitive pattern. This duality is balanced very well and is a way in which you can expresses a real sense of creative wildness, while still maintaining its integrity and orderliness which so many people are naturally drawn to.

crystal jewelry inspiration bib necklace

(Design by Renata Sanchez Ramos)

This unique bib necklace is a outstanding example of weaving mixed medias in and out to create one dynamically dramatic design. Integrating different textures such as Swarovski Pearls, Swarovski Crystals, Epoxy Clay (or Ceralun), ribbon and elastic mesh in complimentary colors creating an overall irresistibly enticing design.

 Crystal bracelet

(Bracelet Design by AliExpress)

This colorful crystal and braided leather bracelet features many different styles of crystals in metal settings which allow the crystals themselves to be showcased. I’m especially drawn to the overlapping look, it gives it a lively and energetic type of movement to the piece that is then grounded by the leather background. It’s a bohemian chic style that is both whimsical and substantial at the same time.

Best wishes for an exceptionally creative day!!

Say “I do” to this lovely style heart shape necklace. This romantic design utilizes the new 5748 Arrow Bead in unique ways to create a larger heart center, complimented by the 5743 Wild Hear Bead. The White Patina Effect has a dreamy timeless quality, similar to that of Venetian glass in that it creates a sense of movement withing the crystal where there is always something new to catch your eye!

DIY Swarovski Crystal Dangle Earrings Design and Instructions

“Worth The Wait”

These multi tiered Swarovski Crystal and Pearl dangle earrings combine many on-trend elements together into one fanciful design. Stacking different sizes of the 5541 and 5542 Dome beads creates a nice layout for incorporating layered chain, which is then highlighted by crystals and pearls. What I like most about this design is that it has a free flowing nature to it and I feel like once I put them on, all I’d wanna do is dance!
