DIY Multi-Strand Bracelet Highlighting Peacock Colors Using the New Crystal Rainbow Dark Effect

free-diy-swarovski-crystal-rainbow-dark-bracelet-design-and-instructions

Free Crystal DIY Multi-Strand Bracelet Featuring the New Fall/Winter Swaorvski Innovations. It features gorgeous color combinations in an array of peacock type hues that are especially on trend in the cooler months.

With the cooler Fall weather in the air, it’s been exciting looking forward to all of the new activities Autumn has to offer. Mike, Kashi and I enjoyed one of our favorite traditions, leaf peeping! Here in Colorado there is no shortage of one of my favorites trees, Aspens. We set off early in the morning, driving up through Estes Park and on to a quintessential drive called the Peak to Peak highway. It’s absolutely gorgeous and both Kashi and I have our heads and toungs hanging out the window the whole time 😉

kashi-and-harmony-fall-hiking-2016

Hiking through the woods and seeing all of the rich golden colors, truly makes my heart soar. I always feel at home in nature and it brings more peaceful, loving energy into my heart. It inspires me in many ways and I feel refreshed and alive. It also helps me to feel more creative and I love to pour that refreshing sense of awe and gratitude into making new types of jewelry for not only myself, but gifts for my friends and family.

As we transition into the cooler months, our fashion and jewelry styles change and we begin to embrace the darker tones. With this years’ new coating from Swarovski, the Crystal Rainbow Dark 2X, is such a gorgeous blend of peacock colors, showcasing purple, green and yellow hues set on a black background. It will certainly be a new staple when making crystal jewelry designs that stand out as being unique and captivating.

6106 Pear-shaped Pendant

Swarovski Innovations Fall Winter 2017/18

The Crystal Rainbow Dark effect is almost as if Swarovski took the most popular coating, the Crystal AB and placed it on a black backdrop. It’s quite a brilliant idea and leave it to Swarovski for making it spectacular. It resembles an oil mark splashed onto a Crystal, which is very innovative and fits perfectly with the overall trend of people wanting to express themselves in novel ways and wear truly unique pieces.

Festival Fever! DIY Bohemian Bangles ~ Design & Instructions

Summer Festival Fever

TREND

Summer doesn’t feel like summer without rocking out at a music festival. From family-friendly block parties to boutique “glamping”, if you haven’t got your checklist done, waste no time, ’cause this summer is loaded with options. Go old school with flower tiaras or Woodstock floatiness, or go modern in cyber punk or cowboy looks. But whatever you choose, remember to take your festival staples: denim cut-offs, boho jewelry, funky bag and bandana. It’s time to embrace fringes, tassel jewelry, floppy hats and all the other festival accessories you’ve been waiting all year to wear.

Don’t forget the three golden rules: customize, customize, customize! So line up the crystals you’ll need for sexy earrings and bracelets; make a colorful tribal trim for your hat; and get a funky festival manicure with your friends. Then just tune in and get that weekend festival vibe!

TECHNIQUES

Stringing: String crystals onto beading wire, thread, cord, or even ribbon, depending on the size of the hole, is a very easy way to make beautiful jewelry or crystal creations to enjoy. With limitless colors available, you can achieve any number of design possibilities.

Knotting: The “Crowning Hippie Chic” hat project uses a technique called a “Surgeon’s Knot”, which worth mastering, as it’s a lot less likely to untie itself. It’s similar to the regular square knot, but with this difference: When you’re doing the first half of the knot, instead of taking one thread around the other thread just once, you wrap around it twice. This tight double-wrap will hold securely while you do the second half of the square knot in the usual way.

It’s Wedding Season! Perfect Time to Make These Stunning New Crystal & Pearl Earrings!

DIY Swarovski Crystal Wedding Earring Design free design and instructions

Well HELLO gorgeous new design! Wow, these Swarovski Crystal earrings are pretty stunning and they show off the new Swarovski Spring/Summer styles beautifully!

Turn heads with soft opulence on your “white lace and promises” day. Frame your face with beautiful statement earrings made with delicate Swarovski Raindrop Pendants, Jelly Fish Fancy Stones, and Crystal Pearls in the new Crystal Pearlescent White Pearl shade.

These would be lovely wedding earrings for the bride, bridesmaids jewelry or as a guest. The 6533 Raindrop Pendants are one of the most elegant Pendants Swarovski makes. They are brand new and I know will be very popular for all kinds of special occasions.

In the beginning, Swarovski had production issues with the Raindrop Pendants and we are just now receiving them. The day they arrived I made earrings for my self using the 6533-33mm Gold Blush Rose and I absolutely LOVE them so much! They are hands down my favorite new style! Every color is gorgeous! The Rhodium Crystal Silver Night is particularly exceptional as well. I honestly don’t wear much gold, but I was so drawn to them I couldn’t help myself. The Gold tone looks especially nice with the Crystal Golden Shadow and the Blush Rose. I can’t say enough about ALL of them…Love, Love, Love!!!
