I am always looking for designers to feature in upcoming posts. If you would like to be a featured designer that uses SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, please follow my blog and contact me. Thank you!
Dear Harmony,
As much as I enjoy your blog, I am really taking task to this feature designer. She proclaims on her Etsy site that these are her designs. That is not true. Matter of fact, that Swarovski Pearl and Rhinestone bracelet, I had that on my Etsy site back in 2013. Same with the bobby pins, etc. Now lines in the jewelry business get crossed all the time, however, when you feature someone, they cannot claim that these designs are theirs, when they take the ideas from someone else and then alter just a little. She is even selling it at the same price that I offer it for…
I have included links to the bracelet I was selling on Etsy back in 2013 and early 2014. I am no longer at Esty and now at Aftcra…

Dear Kelly,
Thanks for your comments and I’m sorry to hear this. It’s a tough thing with jewelry designs being so prevalent on the internet. Many designs are very similar to one another and it’s difficult to know the source for each and every idea. I myself have created similar bracelets with different sized Pearls and Rhinestone Rondellels, just out of my own ideas before seeing this particular bracelet. If you run a Google search for “double stranded pearl and rhinestone rondelle bracelets” you will find many similar designs from many different people. I’m not condoning this, all I’m saying is unfortunately this has happened with many designers for many years. A couple that comes to mind are the very popular necklaces and bracelets emulating the Sabika jewelry and the multi-wrapped Chan Luu bracelets which have been ubiquitously replicated. I’m not sure what else to say, other than I’m sorry, it’s an unfortunate reality in the jewelry design industry.
Warmest Regards,
Harmony
